Our Lab	Maintaining High Standards
USI offers a full-functioning analysis lab with the means to test the following soil attributes: - pH                         - Buffer pH - Phosphorus            - Potassium - Calcium                 - Magnesium - Micronutrients        - Soil Organic Matter From check-in to final analysis, we control every aspect of a customer order to assure prompt and accurate results. For internal quality checks, our lab technicians place a series of soil standards before and within a group of samples to be analyzed each day.  This allows data evaluation before and during each soil analysis.         Soil is scooped for extraction using procedures as defined in the Recommended Chemical Soil Test Procedures for the North Central Region. United Soils invests in state-of-the-art analysis equipment to assure the most advanced and accurate results possible. Click on each thumbnail image to open the photo.	To assure quality assurance, USI participates in the Agricultural Laboratory Proficiency & North America Proficiency Testing programs.                  The Agricultural Laboratory Proficiency (ALP) program provides lab proficiency services to ISTA-member soil testing labs.  The program is based on three proficiency cycles per year, collecting / reporting data for the majority of the industry’s testing and analytical methods.  Open the PDF below to see how USI faired in the results.
